How a Black Friday deal is verified
- A price drop counts only if the price is at most 95% of the lowest price we observed in the 30 days before the drop began, and at least 50 currency units below it.
- It has to show on 2 nightly checks in a row, for a product we had already been tracking for at least 14 days before the drop began. A new listing at a lower price is not a drop.
- A drop is shown for 14 days from the day it began, or until the price goes back up, whichever comes first.
- A store promotion is the store's own claim and is labelled that way. We list one only when the store has shown its "was" price on every read for at least 7 days and the current price is below the median we observed in the 30 days before today, a median that rests on at least 14 days of prices.
- A store's own "was" price is never the baseline of a drop. The baseline is always a price we observed.
- Prices come only from each brand's own store, in the currency it charges there, and are never converted. Sponsored bikes carry a Sponsored flag.
What our history covers
We started recording these stores' prices on Oct 7, 2026, 51 days before Nov 27, 2026. Tracking began at least 30 days before Black Friday, so a drop on the day is checked against a full 30-day window.
